Tara’s Angels
Our marketing team banged their heads together and thought about what we could do as a company to make a difference. With so many charities around, some big, some small, we had a lengthy discussion about how we could donate firstly. Shall we have an office bake sale, could we have everyone wear a specific colour and each donate, shall we participate in an activity that requires sponsorship or shall we directly transfer some money to our chosen charity, as you can imagine the ideas were flowing but we couldn’t quite settle on the best way to donate.
Senso Supports Tara’s Angels
Our Marketing Coordinator Remy mentioned about local charity Tara’s Angels and that they accept gift donations to support women and children fleeing domestic violence. After researching the charity and seeing the great work that they do, we agreed to support Tara’s Angels by putting together some lovely Mother’s Day boxes.
Who are Tara’s Angels?
Tara’s Angels is a non-profit organisation which offers practical support to Nottinghamshire refuges, their residents and families who have survived domestic abuse. Tara’s Angels was set up in memory of Tara Newbold, a mother of three beautiful children who sadly lost her life in 2016, after being a victim of domestic abuse. Naturally, Tara’s family and friends wanted to raise awareness of domestic abuse and support vulnerable women and children.
Donations
The charity accepts all sorts of donations such as personal hygiene items, clothing, toys, games, baby accessories, new home accessories and even have a Wishlist on Amazon for people to purchase and send directly to the charity through the post.
Tara’s Angels is a great cause to support and Senso are proud to be able to help where we can. No amount of support is too small!
